Exhaust rain flap with a clamping range of 86–91 mm for suitable vertical exhaust pipes. It helps to protect the open pipe end from weather influences when the engine is switched off.

Function and design

The movable exhaust rain flap is located at the upper end of a suitable, vertically guided exhaust pipe. When the engine is off, it reduces the ingress of rainwater and coarse dirt; during engine operation, it is lifted by the exhaust flow.

For selection, the actual outer diameter of the exhaust pipe is decisive. The flap must be securely fastened within the specified clamping range.
