The WALTERSCHEID lower link catch hook KAT 2 is a high-quality product designed for use in agriculture. This catch hook is very compact and has a modern design. It is very resistant to dirt and features a dirt exit opening. In addition, it is equipped with a safety lock that prevents accidental opening. The locking pawl can also be secured with the help of a screw (8 x 50). The WALTERSCHEID lower link catch hook KAT 2 offers the necessary angular mobility through its special shape. Furthermore, the mechanism inside the catch hook is protected against shocks and dirt.

WALTERSCHEID locking hooks are installed as original equipment on many tractor brands.

To attach the new catch hooks, the old mounts (hooks or ball eyes) must first be separated from the lower link. The new hooks are then welded back onto the lower links taking into account the correct previously used mounting angle. If possible, this should not change the length of the entire lower link (ball mount from tractor to ball mount of the hook), as otherwise the lifting force and the mounting angle of the respective machines cannot be ruled out. Welding on the catch hooks should only be carried out with competence and expertise to avoid possible later damage.
