What is the difference to conventional locking systems.
In the most commonly used drawbar eyes the trailer coupling is locked in the drawbar eye with horizontal - lateral locking pins - which slide outwards. This is done via a single-handed operation that ensures that the horizontal locking pins lock or unlock in the rail groove.
With this special Rotary pin lock also via a single-handed operation onlyarotation of the locking pins about their own axis takes place.With an additional locking device it is prevented that the rotary pin returns to the starting position.

As soon as the coupling - after sliding into the drawbar eye - has reached the desired (height) position, the locking device is operated by means of a push button, the lateral locking pins are rotated by 90° and lock the coupling at the desired height. The release of the coupling is also done with the single-handed operation in conjunction with the operation of the locking device.
