The number of tractors in the upper power classes is steadily increasing. Due to large tyres and the maximum permissible utilisation of vehicle widths, large tractors can pose a safety problem in public road traffic.
TRACSAFE provides more safety and additional ballasting. Warning markings and reflectors initially ensure that tractors are better noticed by oncoming vehicles. In extreme cases, TRACSAFE serves as underrun protection.
With special ballast modules TRACSAFE can be individually ballasted according to requirements. Due to the intelligent design of the modules, the use of front power lifts and PTO is fully possible.
Instructions for configuring a TRACSAFE underrun protection
Step 1: Bracket (optional)
Optionally select a bracket if you do not want to mount your underrun protection directly on the tractor.
Step 2: Base module (mandatory field)
Select a base module which determines the basic width of your underrun protection. The base modules differ in width and weight.
Step 3: module plates (optional)
Complete your base module with module plates to achieve the desired total width of your underbody protection. The module plates are available in various widths and weights.
Step 4: painting of the module plates (optional)
Optionally choose a paint finish for the module plates in your desired colour. By default, the plates are available in black.
Step 5: mounting assignment (assembly)
To ensure correct assembly, please provide the following information: Front linkage type: Select your front linkage type from the list. Nameplate: Enter the details from your tractor's nameplate. You can find this information on your tractor's nameplate.
