Where is the pivot pin lock used?
In a large part of the CNH tractor series such as CASE IH, NEW HOLLAND and Steyr - also in a few DEUTZ tractor types - this system of (height) locking is used. The rail width of this system is 320 mm.

What is the difference compared to conventional locking systems?
In the most commonly installed drawbar brackets, the trailer coupling is locked in the drawbar bracket with horizontal - lateral locking pins - which slide outwards. This is done via one-handed operation that ensures the horizontal locking pins are locked or unlocked in the rail groove. In this special rotary pin locking, the locking pins rotate around their own axis.
